FAQ
Why do changes require multiple verifications?
Multi-factor verification prevents hackers from modifying settings with just one compromised credential.
Why can I not withdraw after changing settings?
24-hour cooling period. If your account is compromised, the attacker cannot withdraw immediately, giving you time to respond.
Can I disable all security verification?
Strongly not recommended. Register for Binance and keep at least email verification + Google Authenticator enabled at all times.
What if someone tells me to change my security settings?
If anyone (even claiming to be Binance support) instructs you to change security settings, it is almost certainly a scam. Binance support never proactively asks users to modify security settings.
Security Tips
