- Never risk more than 2-5% of your total capital per trade
- Practice on testnet first if available
FAQ
What is the minimum to trade futures?
A few USDT, but we recommend starting with at least 50-100 USDT for meaningful practice.
Can I close a position anytime?
Yes. You can close your position at any time with a market or limit order.
What happens if I get liquidated?
You lose the margin allocated to that position. With isolated margin, your other funds are safe.
Do futures trades incur funding fees?
Yes. Perpetual contracts have a funding rate settled every 8 hours. The rate varies based on market conditions.
Security Tips
- Start small and learn before committing larger amounts
- Set stop-loss on every trade without exception
- Do not over-leverage (most liquidations happen due to excessive leverage)
- Keep most funds in spot wallet (only transfer what you plan to use)
- Avoid trading during extreme volatility until you are experienced
